Step down into the Nick Foles Basement Bar — a late-night hideaway drenched in Philly vibes, big personality, and the kind of energy that only hits when wings meet stand-up. Tucked beneath the buzz of Kensington High Street, this is where stories will be born, legends will start, and your new favourite night will begin.

This isn’t just a comedy night. It’s the launch of a new comedy scene. A space for talent to grow, for fans to laugh, and for a community to take shape — one set, one wing, one howl of laughter at a time.

Show starts at 7:30 PM. Wings hit the table. Mics go live. And the rest? That’s up to you.

🎭 Your Lineup

• MC – Sophie Bing: Improviser, stand-up comic, and certified village escapee, Sophie Bing brings quirky charm and razor-sharp crowd work to every gig. As a Hoopla Improv Player and host of Pigeonhole Comedy, she blends West Country people-pleasing with big-city wit to keep the night flying.
• Opener – Lianna Holston (10 Minutes): Lianna is an American (sorry) comedian who co-hosts the iHeartRadio podcast Tossed Popcorn (winner, The Next Great Podcast, 2021 iHeartPodcast Awards), performed on improv teams at UCB in LA, and can now be spotted around London asking if she can say hi to your dog. BBC New Comedy Award (Longlisted, 2025), Funny Women Stage Award (Semi-Finalist, 2025), Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian of the Year (Runner Up, 2024), Kingston New Comedian of the Year (Finalist, 2024), So You Think You’re Funny (Semi-Finalist, 2024), West End New Act of the Year (Semi-Finalist, 2024), Queerovision Ep. 1 (Winner, Jan 2024). @liannaholston
• Act Two – Elliott Brown (10 Minutes): Elliott Brown brings a refreshing vibe and a trove of embarrassing‑yet‑chaotic life stories to the stage — the kind you shouldn’t relate to, but absolutely do. With sharp wit, playful misdirection, and gloriously relatable chaos, he’s quickly making waves on the UK circuit.
• Act Three – Samira Banks (10 Minutes): Samira Banks is an exciting new comedic talent of Middle Eastern heritage. She has been making waves on the UK circuit since bursting onto the scene, winning the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny? competition in 2023, and becoming a finalist in competitions such as Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year. She has also appeared on TV as part of the BBC New Comedy Awards. She has acted as tour support for well-known acts including Michael Odewale, Ali Woods and Eshaan Akbar, and a personal highlight this year was opening for Stephen Merchant’s WIP. Samira has appeared at the BBC Comedy Festival, the Kilkenny Comedy Festival and Latitude Festival. Her razor-sharp wit paired with her unique perspective are sure to make her a household name — and she continues to leave audiences in stitches with her deadpan delivery and devastating punchlines that seem to come from nowhere. Samira is fluent in German and Spanish and often does Spanish-speaking gigs, having opened for Netflix’s Sofía Niño de Rivera at the Clapham Grand. She also writes for BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz and has written comedy sketches for commercial advertising campaigns.
• Break: 10–15 minutes — grab more wings, refill drinks, swap punchlines with your table.
• Act Four – Jack Scullion (10 Minutes): Jack Scullion is a comedy poet with a punchline for every poem and a knack for finding the funny in the everyday. Blending stand-up and spoken word, he’s brought laughs to comedy clubs, festivals, and TV screens — with appearances on Dave and ITV2. Smart, silly, and occasionally profound, Scullion’s the poet laureate of late nights and questionable life choices.
• Act Five – Cheryl Hurst (10 Minutes): Cheryl is a British-Canadian stand-up comic with a PhD she never uses and opinions she can't keep to herself. She has credits on Amazon Prime and an upcoming debut on Comedy Central.
• Headliner – Heidi Regan (15 Minutes)
